This policy describes information handled through netprofitsconsulting.com, including inquiries, resource requests, newsletter subscriptions and appointment scheduling. Client-service records may also be covered by your engagement agreement and service-specific notices.
Information you provide
When you contact us, request resources or schedule a call, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, business details, QuickBooks Online usage, goals, deadlines and the contents of your message. We use this information to respond, deliver requested resources, arrange appointments and discuss services.
Forms, appointments and email
Our website uses WordPress forms and HubSpot for contact and resource requests, contact management and email follow-up. Appointment scheduling uses Calendly. Information submitted through these services is processed to provide the requested functionality. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option.
Website activity and affiliate links
The website uses Matomo to measure website activity, including resource downloads and interactions with links. HubSpot features and embedded services may use cookies or similar technologies. The precise information collected depends on the settings of each service.
Some links lead to partner businesses through affiliate programs, including PartnerStack. Clicking an affiliate link can allow the partner or affiliate platform to attribute a referral. Net Profits may earn a commission from eligible referrals. The destination website’s privacy practices apply when you visit it.
Client documents
Client onboarding may include a private Dropbox upload link and access to QuickBooks Online for agreed bookkeeping services. Use the document-sharing instructions provided for your engagement. Do not enter account passwords, Social Security numbers or payment-card details into general website inquiry forms.
Purchases
When you make a purchase, we process the contact, billing and order information needed to fulfill the order, provide receipts, handle customer support and maintain transaction records. Payment information is processed through the payment service presented at checkout. Course enrollment is not currently offered.
Contact sharing
We do not sell or rent your contact details or provide them to partners for their own marketing. We use service providers to operate our website and deliver services, as described below.
Service providers
Information submitted through forms, appointment tools, email systems, document storage and accounting tools is processed by the providers used for those functions. These providers include HubSpot, Calendly, Dropbox and Intuit QuickBooks, as applicable to your interaction with us.
Your choices and questions
You can choose not to submit optional information. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the email. Browser controls can limit cookies, although this may affect website features. To ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email info@netprofitsconsulting.com. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law.
Updates
We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
How long information is kept
We retain inquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond and manage related follow-up. Client documents and purchase records are retained for the service relationship and applicable tax, accounting, contractual and other legal recordkeeping requirements. Retention depends on the type of record, its purpose and any unresolved matter; there is no single period for all documents. Contact us to ask about a specific record or request deletion. Legal obligations and legitimate recordkeeping needs may limit deletion.
This policy does not set up automatic deletion in our systems. Keep your own copies of important business and tax records.
